Description
The 7805 Voltage Regulator is found in many game consoles, including the Atari 2600, Sega Genesis, NES.
Voltage regulators can be damaged if an incorrect power adapter is used. For example, plugging an NES power adapter in to a Sega Master system will fry the voltage regulator causing the console to no longer power on. This replacement component is simple to install with only basic soldering knowledge.
They do get hot so thermal paste packet is included.
